National Rural Educator of the Year

The National Rural Education Association (NREA), America’s oldest and most prestigious national organization for rural schools, awards one rural teacher the National Rural Teacher of the Year award and an honorarium of $2,000. This year, Ms. Amy McBroom of the Grand Canyon Unified School District, is their honoree.
